As we’ve said some things are just too time sensitive to wait.

The first was when we managed to make it to the London 2012 games and even scored tickets to what we came to call “The North-American Throwdown.”

This time we find ourselves at another festival of human endurance:

Life Achievement unlocked – Oktoberfest!!

Take a state fair.

The parades, the stock show,

the carnival rides.

beer & roller coasters…how is this a good idea?

The midway games,

The ridiculously over-sized foodstuffs

it’s not just the steins that are as big as your head

Pretty much a state fair as we in America would experience it.

Then we walked into the beer tents

But to call and Oktoberfest beer tent a tent is to call a mansion a dwelling.

Technically correct, but not the same thing

Now have most of the people speak German, throw in some amazing outfits, add a lot of REALLY GOOD beer and bam – Oktoberfest!
